SB Payment Service installment guide
Credit card installments of up to 24 payments are available for orders of ¥10,000 or more, including tax.
Installment options described here are for domestic orders in Japan. They are not available for overseas delivery.
Eligibility
- Minimum order: ¥10,000 including tax
- Up to 24 installments; available plans depend on your card issuer and contract.
- Eligibility depends on your card issuer’s approval and available credit.
Standard credit card checkout is a single payment. For installments, choose “Credit card payment (3D Secure) - SBPS”.
Fees and monthly estimates
Installment fees apply.Rates are determined by your card issuer and contract, not simply by the card network such as VISA or Mastercard.
Confirm the available plans, fees, total payable and individual payments at checkout or with your card issuer.
Example: ¥40,000 in 10 installments
Approximately ¥4,248 per month
This example assumes a total fee of 6.2% of the purchase price.
- Fee: ¥40,000 × 6.2% = ¥2,480
- Total payable: ¥42,480
- Per payment: ¥42,480 ÷ 10 = ¥4,248
6.2% is an illustrative assumption, not a universal fee rate or APR. Actual payments depend on the issuer, contract and rounding.
How to pay
- Select “Credit card payment (3D Secure) - SBPS” at checkout.
- Continue to the payment screen using “Pay now”.
- Enter your card details and choose from the available installment plans.
- Complete your issuer’s 3D Secure authentication if requested and confirm payment completion.
